About the Downtown Development Authority
Nestled along the St. Clair and Black rivers, Downtown Port Huron offers picturesque strolls, unique dining, and retail shops that are second to none.
The Downtown Development Authority's (DDA) works to promote economic growth and revitalization in Downtown Port Huron. The DDA focus to improve and maintain downtown’s infrastructure, promote available opportunities to consumers and businesses, and encourage preservation of the area.
The City of Port Huron Downtown Development Authority is under the supervision and control of a board consisting of the city manager and eight members as determined by the city commission. Members are appointed by Mayor with Council approval, City Code: Sec. 16-81 through 16-84 and Pursuant to Act No. 57, PA of 2018.
